Arts Program

The arts program is a unique program funded by the parent council and offered to all students from JK to grade six. The curriculum is chosen by the teachers, who are responsible for assessment and for ongoing observation of student progress, making it essential that the workshops are selected to introduce and reinforce an interactive learning opportunity for students in the arts.

Nanabush and the Ducks is an engaging interactive puppet theatre production based on an old Ojibway tale in which a wellloved “trickster” tries to catch a flock of tasty ducks for dinner… but learns some important lessons along the way.

Mehdi Cayenne

Mehdi’s light-hearted performances blend song and spoken word, in an inclusive, fiery and eclectic hijinx that leaves students of all ages amazed and inspired.
